Music the Samaritan

I find music one of the most fascinating creations of mankind.
We form our mouths in certain ways and somehow beautiful sounds can be heard.
We can learn to make and play anything and everything.
In retrospect it is not the greatest creation, but far more the greatest discovery.
What is music?
How would you describe what music is to someone who has never heard any in their entire life?
In a sense music is passion.
Music is expressing.
Music is feeling.
Music can be anything and everything you want it to be and music can do anything it wants with you.
Oxford dictionary.
music /noun/ : "Vocal or instrumental sounds (or both) combined in such a way as to produce beauty of form, harmony and expression of emotion.
Why do we enjoy music?
How can it motivate us?
And who or what even decides if something sounds harmonic or not? How is this decided?
There is so much I strive to find out, so much I yearn to know.

But I can tell you what I do know.
Music is filled with so much passion, it can unlock feelings you didn't know were there.
I for my part am interested in how music will develop in the future.
It has existed for so many years and has changed and influenced so many different humans.
It's hard to believe great composers like Beethoven and Brahms were once just like me: human.
They too suffered from crises and had low points in my life. yet they also composed beautiful complicated intriguing and fascination music.
From Medieval to Barock and Classic, Jazz to Pop and who knows what else.
Music has developed, has evolved, has revolutionised itself and our society.
